• Certificate, Chapter 13 Bankruptcy Petition and Plan (Final Exam Score: 105%) 
• Completed training program from 713Training.com LLC for bankruptcy professionals.  Training covered preparation and filing of petitions and performing due diligence for Chapters 7 and 13, as well as foreclosure mediation.  Emphasis on how to avoid committing UPL.  Attended seminar in Denver on preparation of Chapter 13 petitions and plans. 
• Paralegal experience working as a bilingual paralegal in Social Security Administrative Law.  I interviewed clients to document their financial circumstances in order to obtain appropriate SSI benefits.  I drafted the arguments, negotiated with the Social Security Administration, and represented the client at the administrative law hearing.  (No UPL because administrative law allows non-attorney representation.)
• Former Bank Executive/Mortgage Lender (25 years).  Extensive experience in real estate and lending, most pertinent being interviewing clients, requesting and analyzing income documentation, interpreting tax returns for full financial picture and understanding credit reports, as well as completing documentation and write-ups.  Experienced with secured and unsecured financing working with consumer, business and commercial clients.
• Processing and evaluating a loan package is quite similar to processing and evaluating a bankruptcy petition.  Both seek to accurately document the complete financial picture of the client and analyze their ability to pay, and both require the same interviewing skills to arrive at a complete picture.  I used to train loan officers and underwriters in income/expense analysis.
• As an ex-lender, I speak "loans", which will be of value in foreclosure mediation.
• I have a strong grasp of the value of good communication and being proactive to avoid deficiency notices or loss of reputation with the trustees.
